A payment plan is a pricing structure, not a discount

You are changing when the buyer pays, not necessarily the total value of the offer. State the number of payments, amount, frequency and total commitment clearly.

Operational questions matter

Decide what happens after a failed installment, a refund request, a cancellation, an upgrade or a customer payment-method change. The checkout is only the front door to those policies.

Match access to the agreement

For courses or memberships, your delivery system needs to understand payment state. Automations should grant, retain or remove access according to your documented terms.

Use flexibility intentionally

Split-pay and pay-as-you-like options can widen access for some offers, but more payment choices also add operational paths. Offer only the structures you can support cleanly.
