A practical system for selling an online course from offer page through checkout, payment, access, and follow-up.

Separate acquisition from transaction

A course business needs a way to attract buyers, explain the offer, take payment, deliver access and support students. Those jobs can live in one platform or several.

Design the purchase path

Your sales page should lead to a checkout that clearly states price, billing frequency, access and next steps. After payment, the student should receive immediate confirmation and a reliable path into the course.

Add revenue mechanics only when relevant

Payment plans, order bumps, upsells and affiliate promotion can expand a course business, but each adds operational complexity. Build a stable base transaction first.

Choose a stack you can maintain

A creator does not benefit from a technically elegant stack that is too complex to operate. Favor fewer, well-connected systems with clear ownership of customer data and access.
